Befudled.
I had to look it up. I even had the spelling wrong. It’s beffudled. I’m beffudled.
Why start with that? It’s as good of a word as any, it was the first that came to mind. It is appropriate as well. It is often used to describe someone who is temporarily dazed, perplexed by a complex situation, or acting as if they are in a haze.
As this is being written I’m a father of a 2 month old. Beffudled is very appropriate.
All I know is she’s magic. All I want is for her to be safe.
